Introduction

Information Systems (IS) course is based on the premise that computers and information systems knowledge is essential for creating competitive firms, managing global corporations, adding business value, and providing useful products and services to customers. This course provides an introduction to Information Systems students will find vital to their professional success. Information and information management are one of the three bases of successful management together with financial management and human-resources management.
The course is interdisciplinary in nature and includes technical, organizational, behavioral, and economic issues.
