Emergency Appeal :

The AUT boycott is not, unfortunately, an isolated incident.
The attack on the University of Haifa was preceded by other anti-Israeli boycott initiatives in Europe and the United States, which resulted in gross violations of academic freedom. These academic boycotts and other sanctions are, in fact, part of a larger campaign to ostracize Israel's academia and damage Israel's reputation through defamation.
The ultimate casualty of such politically motivated attacks is academic freedom itself as well as the universal principle of non-discrimination against any person by reason of social origin, gender, race, religion, nationality, or political views.

Please join us in combating these dangerous initiatives by offering a contribution to our emergency fund. The fund will sponsor the emergency activities intended to abolish the boycott, pursue the fight against its initiators, and assure on-going activities to prevent future ideological infringements of the academic code.
