LAW FACULTY LEADS IN HEALTH LAW
The World Health Organization cited the University’s Law Faculty as one of only nine such faculties around the world that maintains a center or specialized department for teaching public health law. Israel, furthermore, is one of just five nations where the requisite personnel is available for teaching in this field. These statistics were made public by WHO at an international congress on global health law held in New Delhi at the beginning of December. The Law Faculty’s Center for Health, Law, and Ethics is headed by Judge Amnon Carmi, a member of the Faculty.
