Jewish Studies at the University

The University of Haifa is a liberal, secular research university.  That description, however, does not imply that the institution turns its back on tradition.  The range of offerings in what may be termed “Jewish studies” is broad. Informing most of the courses, whether taught by the more religiously observant or the less traditional, is the element of research.  This special section presents a smorgasbord of Jewish studies activity at the University, written for the most part by the lecturers involved.
