Three renowned scholars joined forces to study and publish the Museum's collection of seals: the late Prof. Nahman Avigad
of The Hebrew University, Prof. Michael Heltzer of the University of Haifa, and Prof. Andre Lemaire of the Ecole Pratique
des Hautes Etudes in Paris.
The detailed discussion illuminates various aspects in the study of the Land of Israel and neighboring countries, such as the
development of script, language, the store of names, administration, society, religion, and art. In addition to the Hebrew Seals,
