Professor Michal Yerushalmy, Vice President and Dean of Research since October 2011.
Professor Yerushalmy (B.Sc., M.Sc. Technion, Ed.D. Harvard University) is a professor of mathematics education.
She is the director of the Research Institute of Alternatives in Education at the University of Haifa Israel.
Her interests are in learning with computerized environments.
Prof. Yerushalmy’s research focus is on cognitive and social processes involved in thinking with computerized representations and interactions.
She has authored and designed numerous software packages in geometry, algebra and calculus.
Current projects that enjoy worldwide recognition, focus on interactive textbooks and on mobile learning as vehicles for the construction of knowledge for everyone everywhere.
