1. 2010-2011: Israel Science Foundation (ISF) grant. Grant title: Using computational tools for piecing together the tree of life. Three years $50,000 per annum.
2. 2010-2011: U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF) grant. Joint with Eugene Koonin from the NCBI, NIH. Grant title: Analytical framework for a comprehensive analysis of the prokaryotic mobilome. Two years $37,000 per annum for the Israeli partner.
3. 2008-2010: Outstanding Senior Young Scientist Fellowship. From the Yeshaya Horowitz association through Complexity Sciences Center. Three years $50,000 per annum.
4. 2006-2007: Postdoc Fellowship. From the U. Ottawa, Dept. of Math. Two years fellowship, CA$33,000 per annum. Declined due to return to Israel.

5. 2005-2006: Postdoc Fellowship NSF Postdoctoral scholarship, NSF CCR-0105533, $56,000 per annum.

6. 2004-2005: Postdoc Fellowship NIH Postdoctoral scholarship, NIH R01:HG236, $56,000 per annum.

7. 2002-2004: Outstanding Ph.D. student Fellowship. From the Yeshaya Horowitz association through Complexity Sciences Center. Three years $19,000 per annum.
