Sinai Peter studied acting at the Department of Theatre Arts, Tel Aviv University and has taken part
in the work of San Francisco Mime Troupe. Since 2000 he serves as the
artistic director of the Haifa Municipal Theatre. An actor and director, he
served as artistic director of the Neve Tsedek Theatre, Tel Aviv, where
he directed Selling Only, and other plays. Peter
served as artistic director of the Festival of Children Theatre in Haifa, and
as artistic director of "The New Theatre Club", the studio theatre
of the Haifa Municipal Theatre, where he directed
The Swan. He directed The
Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui for the Haifa Municipal Theatre and
The Diary of Anne Frank for the Be'er Sheva
Municipal Theatre. At the University of Haifa directed Ouri, 50 Years Old, which he devised together
with Erella Brown, and A Chorus of Disapproval.
Peter teaches acting at the Seminar Hakibbutzim drama school and at the
Technion, Haifa.
