Ilan Toren studied at the Department of Theatre Arts, Tel Aviv University, and became
an actor and director. He joined the Haifa Municipal
Theatre in 1970, where he acted in plays such as
Krum,Othello,Death and the maiden; and directed plays
such as To the Sea, The Grandson, The caretaker.
A the University of Haifa Toren has directed The
Crucible, Luggage Packers, and Hunting Scenes from Lower Bavaria.
