
Dr Michael Yogev was born in USA, and holds degrees from the University of Washington, where he
wrote his PhD dissertation on William Blake (1991). Dr Yogev is Lecturer in
the Department of English at the University of Haifa, where he teaches
Shakespeare, Blake, and other subjects.
Recent publications include an "'War and Lecehery Confound All': Identity and Agency in Shakespeare's *Troilus and Cressida*", in Avraham Oz, ed. Strands afar Remote (University of Delaware Press, forthcoming), and" 'How is the Concord in all Discord': Teaching Shakespeare in Israel, 1994", Shakespeare Quarterly vol 46, no 2, Summer 1995. Currently he is working on a study of the psychodynamics and history of chivalry in Shakespearean and Jacobean drama.
